Here is a sneak peek at one of the things we are working on right now.  It's been in the works for many years but we finally have a prototype together.  This version has a 7 inch touch screen and does analysis only.  It also incorporates a new sensor that we just developed and multiple-impulse analysis.  So instead of just one impulse during the analysis it impulses 4 times at more than 60 impulses per second so it's faster than you can imagine.  Check it out at the March 10th-11th PulStar seminar in Pittsburgh this year!

We released the latest update to the PulStar software today and shipped a CD to all the doctors who attended seminars this year.  The new updates include:

(For PulStar G2s and previous* version 9.7 ...)

  •  New preload indicator and preload settings
  •  New patient encounter timer
  •  New Inter-segmental differences indicator in the analysis
  •  New total number of impulses for the visit and warning when 2000 impulses is reached for cooling
  •  Fixed - First patient selected for the day defaults to correct analysis force level
  •  Fixed - Default force level for analysis is reset when a new patient is selected from the list

(PulStar G3** version 10.1.1  includes the above and …)

  •  New check for updated firmware version on launch of the program
  •  New preference to order the selected vertebrae to your liking
  •  Updated - auto shutoff now waits for a % decrease in stiffness before shutting off

I think everyone will like the new changes.

*Older PulStar systems will require a firmware update to work with the 9.7 software properly.  They require version 9.9 of the firmware minimum.  Most PulStar G2s will support the new software.  There is a fee for firmware updates to the older PulStar models.

**All PulStar G3s are enabled with a USB firmware update program which allows the firmware to be updated in the field without being required to be shipped in to Sense Technology for an update.

Well, it's been some time since I updated everyone.  I wanted to add a sample of some of our new protocols that we teach at the seminars.  Below is a video sample of the soft tissue protocols that Dr. Walton has developed for use with the soft tissue tools.  Enjoy this sample and remember you can find more information at our Online Learning Center too!

It is a sad day for many in the technology world.  Steve Jobs passed away October 5th but has left us with quite a legacy.  Over the last 30 years Steve Jobs helped create a new paradigm of easy computing available to a large group of the world.  His idea of simply making things work without having to know the details behind CPUs and Operating Systems has created a workplace or home that can focus on the productivity and results of the computing experience rather than dwelling on the process of getting the job done.

We design our products based on the concept created by Steve Jobs and Apple always trying to make things as simple as possible and yet get the most information you can from the simple interface we provide.

We will miss you Steve, but we will continue to instill your ideas in each and every product we design and build.  Thank you for showing us all that thinking out of the box can help further innovation and productivity.

We are working on some new things these days, as always, but sometimes it takes more time to get something ready than we expect.  We have been working on something new for about 5 years now.  Worked late getting the next steps ready last night.  Shouldn't be too much longer now....

Had a great day helping doctors implement the PulStar in their practice.  We spend quite a bit of time working with doctors so that they can get the most out of the PulStar System.  It's never easy to change and adopt new technology but it's great to see doctors excited about starting a new day with a new system to analyze and treat patients.  I love hearing the doctor's voice when they call to tell me how much fun they are having with their patients and the PulStar!

Welcome to the updated Sense Technology WebSite!  Check back often to see what we are up to and what might be new right over the horizon!
